This study aims to examine the effect of accounting information systems personal technique capabilities, utilization of information technology, and knowledge of accounting managers on the effectiveness of accounting information systems. The basic theory used in this research is the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory. The population used in this study is the user of accounting information systems at PT. PLN (Persero) Palembang Area which includes accounting, financial, budget, commercial, and information technology systems. Samples were obtained using a purposive sampling method with a final total of 94 observations. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results of the research partially indicate that the personal information system technical ability, the use of information technology, and the knowledge of accounting managers have a significant effect on the accounting information system.
