HUBUNGAN ANTARA HIPERTENSI DENGAN ANGKA KEJADIAN INFARK MIOKARD AKUT PADA PASIEN USIA LANJUT DI RSUP DR MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG PERIODE 2018-2019
Background: Hypertension is a condition where there is a persistent increase in systolic blood pressure ≥ 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure ≥90 mmHg on 2 measurements. The prevalence of hypertension in individuals aged 65-74 years is 63.2% and individuals aged >75 years is 69.5%. According to several studies, there is a significant relationship between hypertension and acute myocardial infarction in elderly patients. However, there are other studies which state that hypertension is a risk factor for acute myocardial infarction in individuals younger than 60 years. Methods: This study used analytic observational with a case control design. The subjects of this study were 60 medical record patients at RSUP dr. Mohammad Hosein Palembang, 30 cases and 30 control groups who include the inclusion and exclusion criteria.
