Background: One of the medicinal plants that are still rarely known by parasite plants. As we know parasites are parasitic plants, which means that their existence will harm / damage the plants in which they live. There are many types of parasites Dendropthoe pentandra (L.) Miq. Apart from its parasitic properties, there are benefits that are useful as antibacterial compounds in the leaves of Dendropthoe pentandra (L.) Miq. Purpose: To determine the antibacterial activity of lime parasite (Dendrophthoe pentandra (L.) Miq.) against Klebsiella pneumonaie in vitro. Methods: This in vitro true experimental laboratory study used a post-test only control group designed. Lime mistloetoes extraction using the maceration method. The lime mistletoes fraction used the Liquid-Liquid Fractionation method. Lime mistletoes was tested for antibacterial activity using the well diffusion method with Mueller Hinton Agar test media. The extract and fraction were selected based on the greatest inhibition zone, followed by the MIC test. Data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel 2019 and SPSS version 25. Results: The 96% ethanol extract and ethanol-water fraction had a larger inhibition zone than the n-hexane and ethyl acetate fractions with an inhibition zone diameter of 2.11 ± 0.928 extract and water ethanol as the active fraction selected with the highest average inhibition zone, namely, 3.44 ± 0.726. The MIC test of ethanol extract and ethanol water at a concentration of 0.125% still gave the inhibition zone (mm) of 3.66 ± 0.707 and 3.22 ± 1.30. Conclusion: Extract and fraction of lime mistloetoes (Dendrophthoe pentandra (L.) Miq.) Has antibacterial activity against Klebsiella pneumoniae in vitro. Keywords: Antibacterial, Extract, Fraction, Dendrophthoe pentandra, Klebsiella pneumoniae
