ANGKA KEJADIAN DAN FAKTOR RISIKO NYERI PUNGGUNG BAWAH PADA PENJAHIT DI KELURAHAN SUKABANGUN KECAMATAN SUKARAMI AGUSTUS 2020
Lower back pain is defined as pain, muscle tension, or stiffness that is localized below the costal margin and above the inferior gluteal fold, the risk factors for low back pain are age, gender, body mass index, and occupation. One of the professions that is prone to complaints of low back pain is tailor. The purpose of this study was to determine the incidence rate and risk factors that play a role in causing complaints of low back pain in tailors. This research is a descriptive study with a cross sectional approach. This research was conducted in August 2020 in the Sukabangun village, Sukarami sub-district, Palembang city with a total of 63 sample. Data were collected using a questionnaire. Based on the frequency distribution of samples, it is known that 43 samples are male, 47 tailors are ≤40 years old, 25 tailors have a BMI of 18.5-22.9, 60 tailors have an non-ergonomic sitting posture, tailors who work ≥40 hours/week were 23 people, and tailors did repetitive bending movements were 59 people. The results showed that the risk factors that play a role in causing complaints of low back pain in tailors are non-ergonomic sitting posture, work duration ≥40 hours/week, and repetitive bending movements.
