(Andrian Tinambunan, Januari 2021, 101 Halaman) Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sriwijaya Latar Belakang: Wabah penyakit menular yang meluas dan menyebabkan banyak kematian seperti COVID-19 dapat menyebabkan gangguan jiwa. Gangguan jiwa merupakan kondisi kesehatan yang memengaruhi cara seseorang untuk berpikir, mengelola perasaan, atau perilaku maupun gabungan ketiganya yang menyebabkan gangguan fungsional pada satu individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui angka kejadian gejala gangguan jiwa pada mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sriwijaya Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter Umum dan Pendidikan Profesi Dokter. Metode: Penelitian survei telah dilakukan di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas dari bulan Juli 2020 hingga Januari 2021. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Self-Reporting Questionnaire-29 (SRQ-29), Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS), dan Cabin Fever Scale (CFS) yang dibagikan secara daring pada seluruh mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sriwijaya Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter Umum dan Pendidikan Profesi Dokter. Data yang didapat kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) Versi 27. Hasil: Didapatkan responden yang mengalami gejala gangguan mental emosional (neurotik) sebanyak 226 (68,7%), gejala depresi ringan sampai sangat parah berjumlah 188 (57,1%), gejala cemas ringan sampai sangat parah berjumlah 242 (73,6%), gejala stres ringan sampai sangat parah berjumlah 178 (51,1%), penyalahgunaan narkoba dan alkohol yaitu sebanyak 31 (9,4%), gejala psikotik yaitu sebanyak 142 (43,2%), gejala gangguan stres pasca trauma yaitu sebanyak 223 (67,8%), gejala cabin fever ringan sampai berat berjumlah 321 (97,6%). Simpulan: Didapatkan angka kejadian gejala gangguan mental emosional 68,7%, depresi 57,1%, cemas 73,6%, stres 51,1%, penyalahgunaan narkoba dan alkohol 9,4%, psikotik 43,2%, GSPT 67,8%, dan cabin fever 97,6%. ABSTRACT NUMBER OF EVENTS OF MENTAL DISORDER SYMPTOMS IN FACULTY OF MEDICINE SRIWIJAYA UNIVERSITY STUDENTS GENERAL DOCTOR EDUCATION STUDY PROGRAM AND DOCTOR PROFESSION EDUCATION DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. (Andrian Tinambunan, January 2021, 101 pages) Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University Background: An epidemic of infectious diseases that is widespread and causes many deaths such as COVID-19 can cause mental disorders. Mental disorders are health conditions that affect a person's way of thinking, managing feelings, or behavior or a combination of the three that cause functional disorders in one individual. This study aims to determine the incidence rate of mental illness symptoms in Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University students in the General Medical Education Study Program and Medical Professional Education. Methods: Survey research has been conducted at Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University from July 2020 to January 2021. Data collection used the Self-Reporting Questionnaire-29 (SRQ-29) questionnaire, the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS), and the Cabin Fever Scale (CFS) which were distributed online to all students of the Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University, General Doctor Education Study Program and Doctor Profession Education. The data obtained were then analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) Version 27. Results: There were 226 (68,7%) respondents who experienced mental emotional disorders (68,7%), 188 (57,1%) mild to very severe depression symptoms, 242 (73,6%) mild to very severe anxiety symptoms, symptoms of mild to very severe stress were 178 (51,1%), symptoms of drug and alcohol abuse were 31 (9,4%), psychotic symptoms were 142 (43,2%), symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder were as many as 223 (67,8%), mild to severe cabin fever symptoms amounted to 321 (97,6%). Conclusion: The incidence rate of mental emotional disorder symptoms was 68,7%, depression 57,1%, anxiety 73.6%, stress 51,1%, drug and alcohol abuse 9,4%, psychotic 43,2%, PTSD 67,8%, and cabin fever 97,6%.
