This study aims to determine the relationship between religiosity and anxiety in facing retirement to Civil Servants in Palembang. The hypothesis of this research is that there is a relationship between religiosity and anxiety in facing retirement to the Civil Servants in Palembang. Participants in this study were 150 Civil Servants with category of they are living in Palembang, 5 years entering retirement age, and Muslims. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. This study used two scales as measuring instruments, namely the anxiety scale referring to aspects of Stuart (2006) and the religiosity scale referring to aspects of Glock & Stark (1966). The data results of the study were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation method in SPSS 16.0 program. The results shows that there is a relationship between religiosity and anxiety in facing retirement to Civil Servants in Palembang with r value = -0.206 and p value = 0.012 (p < 0.05). It means that anxiety has low, positive and significant relationship with religiosity. Thus, the proposed hypothesis is accepted.
