Background: maternal with a history of cesarean section can perform repeated cesarean section for the next labor. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between the maternal characteristics, fetal characteristics, indications, and payment methods with repeated cesarean section. Method: this research use observational analytic with secondary data collection and cross sectional approach. A total sample of 430 subjects met the inclusion criteria. The data is taken through medical records. Statistical analysis using the Chi-square test. Results: Out of the 430 samples, the characteristics of mother and fetus were mostly found based on the age of the maternal 20-35 years (74.2%), multiparous parity (94.2%), usia kehamilan aterm (75.6%), riwayat pendidikan menengah (79%). Normal baby weight 2500-4000 grams (74.2%), babies born with mild asphyxia (85.6%), the most indications for repeated cesarean section were maternal indications (67.2%), and the payment using insurance (98.4%).
