PERILAKU MAKAN MAHASISWA FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN DI PALEMBANG SELAMA PANDEMI COVID-19
Background: Indonesia is in the 2nd highest confirmed case of COVID-19 in ASEAN in August 2020. During the COVID-19 pandemic, there were changes in eating behavior, namely an increase in the diversity of food consumption, an increase in the frequency of eating and an increase in the amount of food consumed by a person. Unhealthy eating behavior can cause individual health problems related to the incidence of obesity, which is one of the high-risk groups for COVID-19 which causes complications. This study aims to describe the eating behavior of medical faculty students in Palembang during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: Type of research is a descriptive study with a study design cross-sectional. The data used are primary data (questionnaire) obtained from the results of filling out the questionnaire independently with a filling time of about 5-8 minutes which was distributed to respondents via google form and obtained a sample of 276 people. Results: The results showed that the study respondents experienced a decrease in physical activity (85.1%) and sat for ≥8 hours while studying online (62,0%), consuming carbohydrates (63.0%)
