Backgrounds. Efforts to prevent COVID-19 transmission are carried out by minimizing non-urgent visits to health facilities and helping people at high risk to connect with healthcare facilities. Therefore, the government urges health workers and societies to utilize telemedicine. Telemedicine defined as healthcare delivered by professionals from a distance using IT, which includes gaining information about the diagnosis, therapy, education, evaluation, and continuous medical education. This study aims to know the satisfaction and barriers of telemedicine users during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Methods. This is a descriptive observational study with cross-sectional design. The research sample was all telemedicine users during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data was taken from a questionnaire via google form from August 2020 - November 2020 and processed with SPSS. Results. Respondent characteristics that were significantly related to telemedicine users’ satisfaction only included origin (p=0.005), residential area (p=0.004), provider (p=0.019), health insurance and internet network (p=0.000). Respondent characteristics that were significantly related with barriers included gender (p=0.032), marital status (p=0.005), age, origin, residential area, education, occupation, health insurance, income, provider, internet network, and internet quota with p = 0.000.
