KORELASI NILAI KREATININ SERUM DENGAN DERAJAT KEPARAHAN STENOSIS ARTERI KORONER
Background: Coronary artery disease (CAD) is generally caused by atherom plaque or atherosclerosis in the coronary arteries. Risk factor that is rarely mentioned is impaired kidney function. Serum creatinine is widely used as an adequate indicator of renal function. Although not directly related, an increase in serum creatinine value is considered to be an independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease. The investigated severity of coronary artery stenosis can form the basis of the prognosis for CAD patients. In determining the severity of coronary artery stenosis from the results of coronary angiography, Gensini score was used. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between serum creatinine values and the severity of coronary artery stenosis. Methods: This study was an observational-analytic study with a cross-sectional design. The sample of this study was 81 medical records of CAD patients who were hospitalized at the Internal Medicine Department of Moeh. Hoesin Hospital Palembang from January to June 2020 who fit the participation criteria. The analysis in this study used the Spearman’s correlation test, significant if (p
