PERBANDINGAN ALGORITMA LEVENBERG-MARQUARDT DAN ALGORITMA BACKPROPAGATION DALAM IDENTIFIKASI JENIS KELAMIN BERDASARKAN SIDIK JARI
Artificial Neural Network have been widely applied in various fields including prediction, medical diagnosis, signal processing and classification. The most widely used Artificial Neural Network for classification is the Backpropagation algorithm, because the Backpropagation algorithm can learn data patterns very well and produce fairly accurate output but requires a very long time. This study compares and tests the accuracy and speed of the Backpropagation algorithm and the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm in identifying gender based on fingerprint. The results showed that the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm has a relatively high level of accuracy with an average accuracy of 93.67%, while the Backpropagation algorithm has an average accuracy of 60%, but a relatively lower speed with an average speed of 0.258 seconds, while the Backpropagation algorithm has an average speed of 0.1978 seconds.
