PERBANDINGAN METODE INTERPOLASI BICUBIC DAN GABUNGAN METODE INTERPOLASI BICUBIC DENGAN DUAL TREE COMPLEX WAVELET TRANSFORM PADA PENINGKATAN KUALITAS CITRA MEDIS
MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) images can be used to help doctors or radiographers to analyze defects or provide an accurate diagnosis of a disease but the resulting MRI images have low resolution and still contain noise. Noise in the image can cause errors when a doctor or radiographer makes a diagnosis of the disease. In this study, MRI images quality enhancement software will be developed by comparing the performance of Bicubic Interpolation method for image enlargement and Dual Tree Complex Wavelet Transform method to improve the quality of the magnified image, and a combination of the two methods.The data used in this study were 200 MRI images, and the performance of both methods was calculated based on the PSNR value. Based on the results of the tests conducted, it is known that the combination of Bicubic Interpolation and DTCWT produces a better PSNR averagevalue of 32.323 (dB).
