In order to survive and develop a company should be able to take advantage of the production factors as efficiently as possible. Resources are very important to a company, one of them is a human resources. Humans have different characteristic from the other production factors, where they have psychological and humanism aspects. Many ways are done by a company in order to keep employing the employees which becomes a very determining factor to its existence and success. The of them ways is by asking the employees to improve their performance. The employees that has a high performance is expected to be able to give a maximum contribution to his company. In writing a scription / thesis, the writer took the research object at governmental instancy that is a public and logistic of local government secretary of South Sumatera. In order to find out how for the role of the employees performance done by the company to his employees. From the data and assessment rate obtained using frequency analysis can be seen in 2000 to 2004 that the development of performance decreased from 6,28% to 5,2%. This indicates that there is a strong and sequent relationship with the performance. From the information above the writer concludes that performance plays a very important role in a company.
