Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui pengaruh promosi terhadap keputusan siswa memilih Global English Language Center (GELC) Palembang dan 2) mengetahui strategi promosi yang paling mempengaruhi keputusan siswa memilih Global English Language Center (GELC) Palembang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil dari analisis regresi tehadap lima variabel (advertising,, personalselling, salespromotion, public relation,
dan word of mouth,), diketahui bahwa hanya ada tiga variabel promosi yang mempunyai pengaruh terhadap keputusan siswa memilih Global English Language Center (GELC) Palembang yaitu advertising, public relation, dan word of mouth. Dapat diketahui juga bahwa advertising merupakan strategi promosi yang paling mempengaruhi keputusan siswa memilih Global English Language Center (GELC) Palembang.
Maka sebaiknya pihak Global English Language Center (GELC) Palembang meningkatkan inovasi promosi dan juga meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dan keinginan siswa agar mereka mendapatkan kepuasan yang maksimal.
