The objectives of this research are (1) to evaluate the causes of mistake placing employees at PT. Excelcomindo Pratama Engineer Part Palembang Branch, and (2) how to know the employees placement system of PT. Excelcomindo Pratama Engineer part Palembang branch. Research finding has shown that during period of years 2003-2005, the amount of employees absent at PT. Excelcomindo Pratama part Palembang branch was increasing caused because of mistake placing employees so that they fill unable to do fast and finally there is no work motivation. They will be lazy to work. Base on job specification data that on by employee can be see that the placing of employees is not suitable yet with job specification that constant by company. In order to improve the placing employee’s problem from the information about the writer concludes that the company must be able to take the good employees or “The Right Man On The Right Job”, base on job analysis and include job description and job specification. The company also can get employee candidate have computation are employee candidate advertisement Service, constitutions of employees candidate or university education.
