The thesis entitled “Assosiative and Dissosiative Process Between the Journalist to News Search At Sumatera Express Morning Daily News of Palembang”. The aim of this study is to knowing Assosiative and Dissosiative Process Between the SUMEKS Journalist to News Search. This study used the qualitative descriptive which describe the reality of the object purposively. This study involved 11 people as the informant. In depth interviews, observation and documentation were used as a technique for analyzing the data used data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The result of this study was in the form of data that we got from the SUMEKS Journalist to News Search while they were did all the social interactions for make it easy their work. The social interaction that they were have done between SUMEKS Journalist are the cooperation between them to search and collected the News and without reduced the exact facts. And we called it as an Assosiative Process. And then, they were have done Dissosiative process which has the purpose for got the compliment and reward from their boss. All of the social interaction are going simultaneously while the Journalist has the job to News Search.
