Sintesa fine powder (Lithium bis Oxalato Borate) LiB(C2O4)2 atau LiBOB telah dilakukan dengan metoda solid-state reaction. Bahan baku LiBOB berupa powder H2C2O4.2H2O (≥99,5%), LiOH (≥95%) dan H3BO3 (≥99,5%). Bahan-bahan tersebut dicampur dengan rasio mol 2:1:1 sampai homogen dan dikalsinasi selama 4 jam pada temperatur 120 oC dilanjutkan sintering selama 7 jam pada temperatur 240 oC. Untuk mendapatkan fine powder LiBOB, dilakukan milling dengan variasi waktu milling 0 jam, 6 jam, 10 jam hingga 13 jam. Pada karakterisasi X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD) diperoleh fasa LiB(C2O4)2 dan fasa LiB(C2O4)2.H2O, Pada pengujian Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR) diperoleh ikatan gugus fungsi yang khas pada LiBOB yaitu O-B-O, C-O-C dan C-O-B-O-C. Pada pengujian Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) terlihat bahwa serbuk LiBOB menggumpal mengikat H2O. Uji konduktivitas listrik elektrolit cair LiBOB menunjukkan konduktivitas semakin menurun seiring pertambahan waktu milling. Analisa waktu larut LiBOB didalam campuran pelarut, terlihat bahwa waktu yang dibutuhkan LiBOB untuk terlarut semakin pendek dari 1140 detik, 360 detik 240 detik dan 120 detik
