Weeds are plants that harm cultivated plants by inhibiting the growth of cultivated plants. Ketapang leaves are known contain allelochemical compounds that can inhibit the growth of other plants. The aimed of this study was to find out the effective dose of ketapang that was able to suppress the growth of ilalang, asystasia and nutsedge. The research was conducted at Greenhouse, Plant Physiology Laboratory of Agruculture Faculty and Mathematics and Natural Science Faculty, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir (OI), South Sumatra from August to October 2023. This research used Split Plot Design with the main plot was the type of weed, namely: G1 = Imperata G2 = Asystasia and G3 = nutsedge. While the sub plot was the concentration level of ketapang leaf extract (K) which consisted of 6 treatments, namely: K1 = 20% (9.0 ml extract: 36.0 ml distilled water), K2 = 30% (13.5 ml extract: 31.5 ml distilled water), K3 = 40% (18.0 ml extract: 27.0 ml distilled water), K4 = 50% (22.5% ml extract: 22.5 ml distilled water), K5 = 60% (27.0 ml extract: 18.0 ml distilled water), K6 = 70% (31.5 ml extract: 13.5 ml distilled water), K7 = 80% (36.0 ml extract: 9 ml distilled water. The results showed that the application of ketapang leaf extract to weed height and number of leaves was significantly able to suppress the growth of weeds of ilalang, nutsedge and asystasia at a concentration level of 60%. Giving 70% concentration to root length, wet weight and dry weight can inhibit the growth of weeds, nutsedge and asystasia. At a concentration level of 60% effective on the phytotoxicity of weeds of ilalang, nutsedge and asystasia.
