PENGARUH KELENGKUNGAN SINGKAL YANG DILAPISI ZINCALUME TERHADAP KEBUTUHAN ENERGI PENGOLAHAN TANAH ALUVIAL DENGAN BERBAGAI KECEPATAN KERJA
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of variations in the curvature angel of zincalume coated plows and working speeds on the processing of alluvial soil. The method employed was a Factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with two treatmennt factors: the curvature angle of the plow (A) coated with zincalume and the working speed (B), with each factor consisting of three treatment levels for each soil processing process. The zincalume curvature angles used were 120°, 130°, and 140°, while the plowing speeds were 2 km/h, 3km/h, and 4 km/h. The research results indicate that the curvature angle and plowing speed significantly influence the alluvial soil rocessing process, with associated energy consumption levels. The combination of a urvature angle of 140° and a plowingspeed treatment of 4 km/h resulted in the lowest average soil cohesion value of1081,67 g. Through the conducted esearch, it was observed that the combinationof a 120° curvature angle and a plowing speed treatment of 4 km/h yielded aplowing depth of 12 cm with a corresponding width of 22 cm. Keywords: energy consumption, working speed, Zincalume, curvature angle
