This research is entitled "The Behavior of Elementary School Children Addicted to Online Slot Gambling in Tanjung Seteko Village, Inderalaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency". This study aims to determine the behavior and motives of elementary school children who are addicted to online slot gambling in Tanjung Seteko Village. This research uses a qualitative approach with the method of determining informants using purposive where the informant who has been selected is someone who knows specifically about the object under study, namely 6 main informants and 2 supporting informants. The results of this study indicate that there are several stimuli that influence elementary school children in Tanjung Seteko Village to play online slot gambling games, both internal influences in the form of facilities from parents such as cellphones and money, often seeing the closest family playing slots, as well as external influences that come from friends who also play online slot gambling and often see slot advertisements on social media. The impact of this stimulus has several effects on behavioral changes, such as often denying what parents say, being lazy in studying and often feeling pain from playing slots until late at night. The motive for the purpose of elementary school children to play online slot gambling games is to fulfill personal pleasure and to benefit from winning the online slot gambling.
