KINERJA INDUSTRI PERBANKAN GO-PUBLIC SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH COVID-19
This study analyzes banking industry performance before and after the Covid-19 pandemic, the variables used are Return on Asset (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE) and Net Interest Margin (NIM) which focuses on foreign exchange banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The financial statements of foreign exchange banks were taken from before the Covid-19 pandemic in 2019 while during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, to carry out the test using a sample t-test in the SPSS application. The results of this study indicate that the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has had a significant impact on bank financial performance using ratios Return On Asset (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE) and Net Interest Margin (NIM). This is because the performance of the Indonesian banking industry is still not effective in managing assets to make a profit during the Covid-19 pandemic and experiencing challenges in maintaining interest income due to credit restructuring so that credit growth slows down and interest rates decrease. The banking industry in Indonesia still needs to continue to spur its industry so that it can continue to survive. Keywords: Return on Asset, Return on Equity, Net Interest Margin, Covid-19, Banking Industry Performance.
