PENGARUH FILM PENDEK ANIMASI TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DIABETES MELITUS PADA REMAJA DI SMA NEGERI 4 PRABUMULIH
Health behaviors formed during adolescence play a significant role in health conditions in adulthood. The majority of adolescents, 87%, show a high preference for fast food consumption, which can increase the risk of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes mellitus. One form of health education that is considered effective in increasing adolescent knowledge is through animated short films because they are interesting, efficient, and easy to understand. This study aims to determine the effect of animated short films on adolescents' knowledge levels regarding diabetes mellitus at SMA Negeri 4 Prabumulih. The type of research used is a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study amounted to 70 respondents selected using stratified random sampling based on predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research instrument was a questionnaire on knowledge about diabetes mellitus that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed a significant increase in adolescents' knowledge levels regarding diabetes mellitus after being given animated short films, with an average pretest score of 57.38 and a posttest score of 87.61. The Wilcoxon test showed a p-value of 0.001 (
