PENERAPAN TERAPI BERMAIN MEWARNAI PADA PASIEN INFEKSI SALURAN KEMIH (ISK) YANG MENGALAMI HOSPITALISASI DENGAN MASALAH KEPERAWATAN ANSIETAS DI RUANGAN SELINCAH 1 RSMH PALEMBANG
Background: Urinary tract infection is an infection due to the proliferation of microorganisms in the urinary tract. The prevalence of urinary tract infection in Indonesia is still quite high, in Indonesia, out of 200 children evaluated, 33% of males and 67% of females suffered from UTI. The impact of UTI can affect various aspects of the patient's life, some of the affected aspects include physical, psychological, social and spiritual. Psychological complaints can include anxiety and stress. Coloring therapy is one of the non-pharmacological therapies that can reduce anxiety, provide a sense of comfort and children will feel relaxed because of the activity. Objective: Applying coloring therapy in patients with urinary tract infection (UTI) with anxiety nursing problems. Method: The method used in writing this scientific paper uses a case study approach in three pediatric patients with urinary tract infection (UTI). Results: The assessment results obtained in the three managed patients who experienced anxiety experienced a decrease in anxiety after being given the intervention of coloring play therapy which previously experienced moderate anxiety to mild anxiety. Conclusion: Coloring therapy is able to reduce anxiety in children with urinary tract infection (UTI) problems in Selincah 1 Room, Palembang Hospital.
