HUBUNGAN PLATFORM INSTAGRAM DENGAN DORONGAN MAHASISWA UNSRI BERBELANJA THRIFT SHOP
This research examines the Instagram platform and the encouragement of students to shop at thrift stores. The problem in this study is about the development of technology that affects the interest in thrift shop purchasing decisions among students, especially students. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the Instagram platform and the encouragement of UNSRI students to shop at Thrift Shop. The method used in this research is associative quantitative analysis. The sample in this study were 100 respondents of UNSRI students in 2020, 2021, and 2022. The sample technique used was Proportional Random Sampling and data collection using a questionnaire. The results showed that there is a relationship between the Instagram platform and the encouragement of UNSRI students to shop at thrift shops. This is indicated by the results of the Pearson Product Moment hypothesis r_hitung of 0.734 which is greater than r_table (0.195) with a significance of 0.05. The manual correlation test produces a ttable value of 99% and an error rate of 1% for a two-party test with dk (100-2) = 98. The tcount value is 10.8 which is greater than the ttable (10.8>1.661). Based on the correlation coefficient value of 0.734, it is included in the strong category with a positive relationship. Keywords: Instagram Platform, Student Encouragement, Thrift Shop
