KARAKTERISASI DAN PERSEBARAN BATUBARA SEAM E PADA LAPANGAN "BW' DI PT BUKIT ASAM TBK, KABUPATEN MUARA ENIM, SUMATERA SELATAN
The South Sumatra Basin is located in the back-arc basin and has coal-containing formations, including the Muara Enim Formation, Air Benakat Formation and Talang Akar Formation. One of them is PT. Bukit Asam Tbk, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra which has a coal mining site. The method used in this study is stratigraphic analysis to determine the lithology in the "BW" field which will later be correlated with drill data, facies analysis to determine the characteristics of the lithology and depositional environment. The required data consists of drill data and well log data, proximate data, local geological data and DEMNas and RBI Regency data. Based on the results of geophysical logging analysis carried out at 4 drilling-well points. The coal layer in the "BW" field consists of 3 seams. The sequence from the youngest to the oldest seam is seam D, seam E1, and seam E2. Seam D has a thickness of 4.63 meters, Seam E1 is 7-10 meters, and Seam E2 is the thinnest layer with a 0.7 to 1 meter thickness. The stratigraphic correlation of this well data consists of 4 well points with a west to-east direction. Well ADM_01 has a depth of 169.32 meters, and three coal seams were found, seam D, seam E1, and seam E2. Well ADM_02 has a depth of 36.92 meters, and two coal seams were found, namely seam E1, and seam E2. Well ADM_03 has a depth of 116.38 meters, and two coal seams were found, namely seam E1 and seam E2. Well ADM_04 has a depth of 26.86 meters, and two coal seams were found, namely seam E1 and seam E2. In seam E, splitting occurs when the distribution channel shifts due to changes in flow and sediment deposition in the delta environment. Layered sedimentation on fluvial deposits that occur repeatedly during floods. Facies that develop in the "BW" field Interdistributary bay, Crevasse splay, and Mire, where the depositional environment is included in the Fluvial Transitional Delta Plain. Electrofasies patterns found in the log data are Serrated and Cylindrical where the log is filled with claystone, sandstone, and coal lithology. The coal in the "BW" field is continuously and thickens towards the east-northeast.
