STATUS REPRODUKSI SAPI POTONG PASCA PENYAKIT MULUT DAN KUKU (PMK) DI KABUPATEN KEDIRI PROVINSI JAWA TIMUR
Foot and Mouth Disease is a type of disease that is infectious and acute and its transmission is very high in cloven-hoofed animals and the main agent that causes FMD is Aphthovirus. The aim of the research was to determine reproductive status after foot and mouth disease (FMD) in Kediri Regency, East Java Province. This research was carried out from July to August 2023 in Kediri Regency, East Java Province. The method used in this research is quantitative inferential using a survey approach and sampling using purposive sampling and primary and secondary data collection methods. The variables observed in this study consisted of vaccination history (Q1), length of recovery from FMD (Q2), cows returning to estrus (Q3), cows experiencing pregnancy after FMD (Q4) and reproductive disorders in female livestock after FMD (Q5). The data analysis method uses the Chi-Square test to test the relationship between variables. Based on this research, it can be concluded that Foot and Mouth Disease influence the recovery time, return to estrus and pregnancy again as well as reproductive status such as Calving Interval, Conception Rate, Service per Conception, Days Open and Calving Rate.
