The incidence of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in the working area of the Sako Palembang Health Center is still high, reflecting a serious health problem in Palembang City. This study aims to analyze the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of housewives towards efforts to prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in the working area of the Sako District Health Center, Palembang City. This type of research uses a cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach. The study population was housewives in the working area of the Sako Health Center, a sample of 90 was taken by Purposive Sampling. Data collection by interviews using questionnaires and observations. Processing and analysis were carried out by editing, coding, etry, and cleaning univariate and bivariate data analysis where univariate using the Chis-Square test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge (p-value 0.00, PR 7.090 (Cl 95%:2.59-19.3)) and attitude (p-value 0.02, PR 3.27 (Cl 95%:1.16-9.16)) and dengue prevention behavior. There was no significant relationship between age (p-value 0.16, PR 2.059), education (p-value 0.74, PR 0.849) and occupation (p-value 0.51, PR 1,500) and dengue fever prevention behavior. The conclusion in this study is that there is a meaningful relationship between knowledge and attitudes and behaviors towards the prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in the working area of the Sako Health Center in Palembang City.
