ANALISIS RISIKO KESEHATAN LINGKUNGAN PAJANAN BESI (Fe) PADA KUALITAS AIR TANAH DI DESA TANJUNG LAUT KECAMATAN TANJUNG LUBUK KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ILIR
Iron (Fe) in drinking water can pose health risks. This research uses a quantitative approach using an Environmental Health Risk Analysis (ARKL) study design. The aim is to identify the iron metal (Fe) content, understand the dose response analysis of the iron metal (Fe) content, understand the risk characterization picture, and understand the risk management of iron metal exposure. The method used was non-probability sampling for 96 respondents, and 6 water samples. Water samples were tested at the Class 1 BTKL (Environmental Health and Disease Control Engineering Center) Laboratory in Palembang. By using the SNI 6989.4:2019 Inspection Method to measure the levels of iron (Fe) in water. 6 samples showed the highest concentration of iron metal at 0.51 mg/l and the lowest concentration at 0.12, far above the average of 0.2mg/l. Research shows that even though the risk quotients (RQ) value is < 1, this indicates that the current conditions are within safe limits and do not require additional risk control measures. However, it is important to keep iron levels below the specified threshold to prevent negative impacts on the health of people who consume the water. Therefore, it is recommended that people maintain a clean lifestyle and carry out water treatment that is safe for consumption.
