EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN E-MODUL BERBASIS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) PADA MATERI PESAWAT SEDERHANA TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA SMP KELAS VIII
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using a Problem-Based Learning (PBL)-based e-module on the critical thinking skills of eighth-grade students on the topic of simple machines at SMP Negeri 58 Palembang. The research employed a descriptive quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design (pre-experimental), using a one-group pretest–posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 26 students, with an essay test instrument comprising six questions that had been validated by two expert validators. The analysis results show an average N-Gain score of 0.72, which falls into the high category, with 14 students in the high category and 12 students in the medium category. These findings indicate that the PBL-based e-module is effective for science learning because it helps students understand the material in a more structured and contextual manner while also supporting the optimization of digital learning media in accordance with the Merdeka curriculum.
