Complaints in the Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) system are complaints of pain in the skeletal muscles felt by someone ranging from mild to severe complaints. One of the workers who are at risk of experiencing Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) complaints is batik work, in the process of making batik requires precision such as during the process of making sketches or drawing motifs on the fabric takes a long time because it still uses simple tools. This study aims to analyse the factors associated with complaints of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) in batik workers in Jambi City. This research is a quantitative study using a cross sectional design. Sampling using simple random sampling technique with a sample of 62 people. Data analysis using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. The results showed that the gender variable (p-value 0.427) had no significant relationship with Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) complaints, but the age variable (p-value 0.006) length of work (p-value 0.000), exercise habits (p-value 0.002) and work posture (p-value 0.000) had a significant relationship with Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs)complaints in batik workers in Jambi city. The conclusion of this study is that the factors associated with complaints of Musculoskeletal Disorders(MSDs) include age, length of work, exercise habits and work posture. Suggestions from this study batik workers should have effective rest periods, be able to take the time to stretch and workers should get socialisation from the local government about the importance of working with good work positions.
