The low coverage of early initiation of breastfeeding (EIBF) in Indonesia correlates with low breastfeeding rates, which can lead to inadequate nutrient intake in children during the first 1000 days of life. One of the nutritional problems that can occur during this period is stunting. The purpose of this study was to determine the description and spatial comparison of the incidence of stunting, EIBF coverage, and exclusive breastfeeding in Palembang City and Ogan Ilir District. This research used a descriptive ecological study design. Spatial analysis was conducted with Geographic Information System (GIS) technology using the Quantum Gis (QGIS) application. The population was all toddlers in Palembang City and Ogan Ilir Regency, the sample was all stunted toddlers in each sub-district in Palembang City and Ogan Ilir Regency. The results showed that the highest incidence of stunting in Ogan Ilir District was in West Pemulutan District (21.2%) and Palembang City was in Bukit Kecil District (1.1%). The lowest EIBF coverage in Ogan Ilir district was in Indralaya Selatan sub-district (60.31%) and Palembang city was in Ilir Barat I sub-district (55.61%). The lowest exclusive breastfeeding coverage in Ogan Ilir district was in West Pemulutan sub-district (0%) and Palembang city was in Ilir Timur I sub-district (61.36%). There are differences in stunting cases, EIBF coverage, and exclusive breastfeeding in Ogan Ilir District and Palembang City. Recommendations future researchers to use a quantitative spatial analysis approach and further examine other risk factors associated with stunting incidence. Keywords: Mapping, stunting, exclusive breastfeeding, early initiation of breastfeeding, geographic information system (GIS) Literature: 67 (2014 – 2024)
