HUBUNGAN USIA DAN JENIS KELAMIN DENGAN LUARAN PASIEN KOLELITIASIS PASCAKOLESISTEKTOMI LAPAROSKOPI DI RSMH PALEMBANG PERIODE 2021—2023
Gallstone is known as Cholelithiasis, it is a condition characterized by the formation of stones in the gallbladder. Now gallstone is the most prevalent gastrointestinal conditions. Gallstone is the greatest numbers in inpatient hospitality. It is advised that people with cholelithiasis who exhibit symptoms have a gallbladder removed or a cholecystectomy, which can be done by laparoscopically. The results of laparoscopic cholecystectomy depending on each patient's unique characteristics. The aims of this study to determine and analyse the relation between age and gender with the outcomes of patients with cholelithiasis postlaparoscopic cholecystectomy at RSMH Palembang. This study was an observational analytic study with a cross-sectional design using secondary data from medical records of patients with cholelithiasis postlaparoscopic cholecystectomy at RSMH Palembang for the period of 2021—2023. The total of 449 patients met the criteria, with the majority aged 40—59 years and female. There was no significant relation between age and mortality (P = 0,347), length in hospital stay (P = 0,180), and postoperative complications (P = 0,347). There was also no significant relation between gender and mortality (P = 1,00), length in hospital stay (P = 0,950), and postoperative complications (P = 1,00).
