LUARAN PASIEN ANAK LEUKEMIA LIMFOBLASTIK AKUT DENGAN PROTOKOL INDONESIA 2018 DAN FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMENGARUHINYA
Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in children, especially cancer of the haematopoietic system known as leukaemia. Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia is the most common type of leukaemia in children. Since 2019 to now, Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang has used the LLA-2018 national protocol as a chemotherapy protocol for LLA children, but there has been no further research on the outcomes of LLA patients using the protocol. This study aims to determine the outcomes of ALL pediatric patients treated using the LLA-2018 national protocol and its influencing factors. This study used an observational analytic research with a retrospective cohort study design. Secondary data were obtained from 122 subjects through medical records and registers of pediatric haematology oncology patients at Mohammad Hoesin Hospital Palembang from 2019-2021. In this study, 59.8% of subjects died, 5.7% of subjects relapsed, and 34.4% of subjects met remission. Bivariate analysis showed that age and risk stratification influenced mortality and non-remission and immunophenotyping influenced relapse (p < 0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that age at diagnosis was a factor that independently influenced mortality and the incidence of non-remission (p < 0.05). There was a significant association between age and risk group for mortality and non-remission and a significant association between immunophenotyping and relapse. However, only age at diagnosis was independently associated with mortality and non-remission with age < 1 year or > 10 years at 2.15 and 2.05 times higher risk than age 1-10 years, respectively.
