ANALISIS KERAWANAN LONGSOR BERBASIS OVERLAY PARAMETER GEOSPASIAL DAERAH SUKAMAKMUR, KABUPATEN BOGOR, JAWA BARAT
Natural disasters are events that threaten the lives of communities and are caused by natural or non-natural factors. They can lead to environmental damage, property loss, psychological impacts, and casualties. One natural disaster that frequently occurs in the research area is landslides, which involve the sudden movement of rock or soil masses and are closely related to scientific processes in the landscape. Landslide disasters are also influenced by human behavior factors, such as population growth that increases the demand for land, whether for settlements, industry, agriculture, and so on. This study was conducted to identify the potential for controlling landslide occurrences in the Sukamakmur area and its surroundings, Bogor Regency, West Java, by utilizing a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach combined with overlay techniques of several parameters. This area is known to have a high potential for landslide disasters due to complex geological conditions and dynamically changing land use patterns. As one of the disaster mitigation efforts, slope stability analysis becomes very important to determine areas prone to landslides and to provide guidance in land use planning. The method used in this study includes the collection and analysis of Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data, which is then processed to produce a landslide susceptibility map that can serve as a risk mitigation step for landslides in the study area. The overlay method used involves combining several maps such as geological maps, geomorphological maps, drainage pattern maps, rainfall maps, soil type maps, land cover maps, and vegetation density maps. These maps then produce a landslide susceptibility map, which is analyzed to determine areas prone to landslides. The results of this analysis are then used to create a slope stability zoning map, which classifies the study area into categories of stable, moderate, and landslide-prone. The resulting zoning map can provide important information as part of landslide disaster mitigation efforts, help improve resilience to natural disasters, and support sustainable development.
