This study aims to examine the influence of student apathy on the Organization of the Civic Education Study Program at Sriwijaya University. Apathy has become a barrier to active student participation in organizations, which should serve as a platform for personal development and leadership. This research employs a descriptive quantitative approach with a sample of 113 active HMPPKn students from the 2023 and 2024 cohorts, selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a Guttman-scale questionnaire and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicate a significant influence between student apathy and their involvement in the organization. The findings reveal that behaviors such as lack of responsibility, insecurity, and passive acceptance of authority negatively impact organizational engagement. Therefore, strategic efforts from the study program and organizational leaders are necessary to increase student participation.
