The purpose of this study to prove the influence of involvement in the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS) on student discipline at SMP Negeri 56 Palembang. The research method used is statistical quantitative methods. The sample in this study consisted of 42 students involved in the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS) at SMP Negeri 56 Palembang. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used are the data normality test and the data linearity test. The hypothesis testing was conducted using simple regression analysis, which include simple regression equation, correlation tests, the coefficient of determination test, and t-tests. The coefficient of determination test shows that the influence of involvement in the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS) on student discipline at SMP Negeri 56 Palembang is 16.55%. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant effect between OSIS involvement and student discipline, with t_count > t_table, namely 2.84302 > 1.68385, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence of student involvement in the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS) and student discipline at SMP Negeri 56 Palembang. It is recommended that future research focus on a sample of student council members, utilize more than one data analysis technique, and revise any invalid questionnaire instruments to measure the same study.
