Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic autoimmune disease that affects many organs. Hospital information system data in 2016 has reported 2,166 hospitalized patients with lupus in 858 hospitals and 550 of them died. Evaluation of disease activity is essential to determine appropriate therapy and prevent complications. This study aims to analyze the association of hematological inflammatory index including NLR (neutrophil lymphocyte ratio), PLR (platelet lymphocyte ratio), and SII (systemic immune-inflammation index) with disease activity of SLE patient. This research is an observational analytic research with cross-sectional study design. The data collection process used secondary data with the consecutive sampling method from the medical record data of Mohammad Hoesin Palembang Hospital in January 2022-August 2024. Based on the results of univariate analysis of 110 samples, it was found that the majority were female, the age range was 26-44 years and had a mild degree of activity. The results of bivariate analysis using the Chi-square test showed a significant association between NLR (p=0.001) and disease activity of SLE patients. There was also a significant association between PLR (p=0.001) and disease activity of SLE patients, and between SII (p=0.002) and disease activity of SLE patients. Hematologic inflammatory index such as NLR, PLR, SII are significantly associated with disease activity of systemic lupus erythematosus patients. Keywords. disease activity, SLE, NLR, PLR, SII.
