SURVEI PENDAPAT MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN EKONOMI UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA TAHUN AKADEMIK 2020 TENTANG PENGARUH PENGENALAN LAPANGAN PERSEKOLAHAN TERHADAP MINAT MENJADI GURU
This study examines the opinions of economic education students at FKIP Sriwijaya University in the 2020 academic year regarding the introduction of school field activities (PLP) and its impact on their interest in becoming teachers. The research uses a quantitative descriptive approach and the entire population of 71 students is included as the sample. The sampling technique used is total sampling. Data is collected through questionnaires, documentation, and interviews, and is analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results show that, on average, the students have participated in school field activities well and have a moderate interest in becoming teachers. The inferential statistical analysis reveals that the introduction of the school field has a significant effect on interest in becoming a teacher. The coefficient of determination indicates that the introduction to the school field accounts for 32.04% of the influence on the interest in becoming a teacher, while the remaining 67.96% is influenced by other factors. The study suggests that activities in the introduction to school field program should be increased to enhance students' interest in pursuing a career as teachers.
