This study aims to examine the influence of competency and work motivation on employee career development at PT Bukit Asam Tanjung Enim. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study was 48 employees. The sample in the study used a saturated sampling technique. The data used in this research is primary data with data collection using a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results of this research indicate that Competency has a positive and significant effect on Employee Career Development and Work Motivation does not have a significant effect on Employee Career Development
