Lempasing Beach Fishing Port is a capture fisheries infrastructure that is the center of fishing, management, and marketing of fishery products in Bandar Lampung city. One of the common fishing gear operated by fishermen at PPP Lempasing is Mini purse seine . The type of fish caught using Mini purse seine is a type of fish that has important economic value, namely pelagic fish. This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing how the diversity of main catch and by catch in Mini purse seine fishing operations in Lempasing waters, Lampung Province. The data obtained in this study were determined from the fishing location of local fishermen using the one day trip method. The composition of the main catch and bycatch in this study found as many as 7 species. The highest main catch was Tembang fish (Sardinella gibbosa) with 56,000 individuals (89.2%) and the highest bycatch was Petek fish (Eubleekeria splendens) with 14,291 individuals (15.1%). Diversity of the catch showed a diversity index value in the medium category (H = 1.17), a uniformity index value in the medium category (E = 0.60), a dominance index value in the low category (C = 0.42). Environmental parameters that most influence the diversity and uniformity indices are temperature and dissolved oxygen (DO), while the dominance index has no significant contribution.
