Driving jobs such as motorcyclists are one of the jobs that can cause Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) due to prolonged wrist posture on the motorbike handlebars. Higher prevalence rates of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) have been found in certain groups with repetitive hand movements, especially wrist flexion and arm extension. Activities using hands that are carried out repeatedly with additional force make the prevalence of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) in the general population around 3% to 6%, working populations are more at risk of experiencing CTS such as land transportation workers, one of which is motorbike drivers who work as couriers. . This research aims to analyze the effect of hand muscle stretching exercises as a form of effort to reduce complaints of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome among J&T Express motorized expedition couriers in Palembang City. This research uses quantitative methods with a Quasi Experimental design. The sample in this study used a simple random sampling technique which was divided into 2 groups (experimental group and control group). The total sample was 40 respondents, with 20 experimental groups and 20 control groups. The data collection tool used was the Boston Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Questionnaire (BCTQ). The results of the BCTQ calculation table show that the experimental group experienced a decrease in Carpal Tunnel Syndrome complaints and the control group did not experience a decrease in Carpal Tunnel Syndrome complaints. It can be concluded that the application of hand muscle stretching exercises to motorized courier workers has a great influence on reducing complaints of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and can be continued to reduce complaints at work and increase worker productivity.
