PENGARUH PERMAINAN NUMO (NUTRITION MONOPOLY) TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN POLA MAKAN SEIMBANG PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR
A balanced diet patterns is a way of regulating the amount, frequency, and type of food in the form of a food arrangement that contains balanced nutrients. An unbalanced diet pattern can have a negative impact on children’s growth and development. Knowledge is one of the factors that can influence a person in implementing their daily diet. One method of health education to increase a person's knowledge is through the game method. This study aims to determine the effect of health education using the NuMo game on knowledge of a balanced diet patterns in elementary school students. This study was a quantitative study with a one group pretest posttest design. The number of samples in this study were 58 students selected using the probability sampling method with stratified random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a knowledge questionnaire. The results showed that the level of knowledge of respondents before being given the intervention was mostly in the category of sufficient knowledge were 52 people (89.7%) and after being given the intervention all respondents were in the category of good knowledge were 58 people (100%). Statistical analysis in this study used the Marginal Homogeneity test. Based on the results of the analysis was obtained a p value of 0.000 ( ≤ 0.05) showing that the NuMo game had a significant effect on elementary school students' knowledge on a balanced diet. The results of the study showed that the NuMo game could improve elementary school students’ knowledge about a balanced diet pattern. The results of this study recommend that the use of the NuMo game can be an intervention option in providing health education in improving elementary school students’ knowledge on a balanced diet pattern.
