PERILAKU DAN KUAT TEKAN SELF COMPACTING CONCRETE YANG DIPERKUAT MICRO SYNTHETIC FIBER
The need for a workable concrete that has better behavior is an option as a construction material. SCC (Self-compacting concrete) concrete which is proven as concrete with the ability to self-compact is reinforced with a type of micro synthetic fiber is the topic in this study. The purpose is to get ease of work and improve compressive behavior in addition to compressive strength. The polypropylene microfibers with a percentage of 0%; 0,75%; 1%; and 1.25% to the weight of the volume of the sample are used in the SCC mixture with a mix design of 30 MPa. The results showed that all mixtures qualified as SCC concrete and the polypropylene microfiber used was proven to affect its behavior and compressive strength. The increasing percentage of fibers is proven to be able to improve the compressive behavior of concrete as shown by the compressive collapse pattern with a further crack pattern that is significantly reduced with a decrease of 44%, 24%, and 14% compared to the normal SCC in the fiber mixture of 0.75%, 1%, and 1.25% respectively. However, the influence of polypropylene microfibers on their compressive strength also experienced a decreasing pattern of 9.83%; 19,23%; and 26.80%. The optimal composition of the addition of polypropylene microfibers is at a percentage of 0.75% microfibers.
