Difficulty adjustment in games is one of the key factors that influences player experience. A 2D shooter game that is too easy or too difficult may prevent players from receiving proper feedback due to being unable to complete the game, so difficulty adjustment is necessary. Therefore, a system is needed to automatically and dynamically adjust the game’s difficulty based on the player’s skill level. By implementing Fuzzy Logic with variables such as lives, delta score, and danger value, the game’s difficulty level can be adjusted automatically. Based on the results of this study through a questionnaire involving 10 participants, the implementation of Fuzzy Logic was able to increase player satisfaction by score 0.9.
