EFEKTIVITAS HERBISIDA EKSTRAK DAUN CENGKEH (Syzygium aromaticum L.) DENGAN BEBERAPA KONSENTRASI UNTUK MENGENDALIKAN GULMA ILALANG (Imperrata cylindrica L.), ASYSTASIA (Asystasia gangetica) DAN TEKI (Cyperus rotundus L.).
This study aims to determine the inhibititory power of clove leaf extract with several concentrations against weeds Congongrass, Asystasia gangetika and Nutsedge. This research was carried out at the Shadow House and Plant Physiology Laboratory of Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir (OI), South Sumatra. The research was carried out from August to October 2023. This study uses a Separate Plot Design. The main plot was the concentration level clove leaf extract (C) which consists of 6 levels, namely C1 = 20% (9 ml extract: 36 ml aquades), C2 = 30% (13.5 ml extract: 31.5 ml aquades), C3 = 40% (18.0 ml extract: 27.0 ml aquades), C4 = 50% (22.5 ml extract: 22.5 ml aquades), C5 = 60% (27.0 ml extract: 18.0 ml aquades), C6 = 70% (31.5 ml extract: 13.5 ml aquades), C7 = 80% (36.0 ml extract: 9 ml aquades). The sub plot of was type of Weeds (G) consisted of 3 namely: G1 congongrass (Imperata cylindrica L.), G2 Asystasia gangetica, G3 nutsedge (Cyperus rotundus L.). The results of the study showed that the application of clove leaf extract at a concentration of 80% was effective against the high inhibition of asystasia and the decrease in the number of asystasia and nutsedge leaves as well as effective against the inhibition of root length, wet weight and dry weight of congongotass, assytasia and nutsedge. In addition, at a concentration of 80% it is effective against phytotoxicity of congongrass, asystasia and puzzles.
