PENGARUH PEMBERIAN ICE BREAKING TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X DI SMK NEGERI 1 RAMBANG DANGKU
Students' learning motivation is influenced by many factors so that it can increase. The role of teachers in learning activities is also important to increase learning motivation. Ice breaking is an activity in the form of a simple game that can change the rigor of classroom learning into more fun. This research aims to prove the effect of providing ice breaking on the learning motivation of class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Rambang Dangku. This research is a pre-experimental type of research in the form of a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Rambang Dangku, totaling 4 classes. Sampling in this study used a cluster random sampling technique and class X Accounting was obtained as the experimental class sample. Pretest and posttest questionnaires as well as observation are data collection techniques in this research where ice breaking is provided in the learning process. Testing the hypothesis in this study used the t-test and obtained the results tcount(6.0908) > ttabel(1.70133), so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of providing ice breaking on the learning motivation of class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Rambang Dangku. Thus, ice breaking can be one way for teachers to increase students' learning motivation by selecting and determining the type of ice breaking that is appropriate to the learning time and inserting learning material in the ice breaking that will be applied so that it can increase students' learning motivation.
