ANALISIS DAMPAK PENGESAHAN UNDANG-UNDANG ANTI LGBT TERHADAP KELOMPOK MINORITAS DI RUSIA TAHUN 2022-2023
LGBT is a community, an acronym referring to a group of individuals who have sexual orientations and/or gender identities that differ from heterosexual and cisgender norms. This study aims to analyze the impact of the enactment of the Anti-LGBT Law on minority groups in Russia during 2022-2023, emphasizing how this policy affects the social and psychological security of the LGBT community. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing the security theory from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as a theoretical framework. Through document analysis and literature review, the study reveals that the enactment of this law exacerbates stigma and discrimination against LGBT individuals, leading to heightened fear and anxiety in their daily lives. Moreover, this group faces decreased access to health services, education, and legal protection, further weakening their position within society. The findings indicate a critical need for increased attention from the government and international organizations to safeguard the rights of minority groups in Russia. Keywords: Anti-LGBT Law, minority groups, social security, Russia, security theory, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
