STRATEGI COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES PERUSAHAAN MULTINASIONAL DI INDONESIA STUDI KASUS: EKSPANSI GRAB HOLDING DI SUMATRA SELATAN DAN BELITUNG
This study focuses on the competitive advantage strategy implemented by Grab Holding as a multinational company in Indonesia, with a case study of expansion in South Sumatra and Belitung. The background of this study is based on the development of international issues and the role of Multinational Company (MNC) in the global economy. As one of the successful MNCs in Southeast Asia, Grab has demonstrated its expansion capabilities in various regions, including Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach to analyze the strategies used by Grab in competing in the online transportation market using Michael E. Porter's Competitive Advantages theory. The researcher uses primary and secondary data sources, namely data obtained through surveys, interviews, and document analysis. The research findings show that Grab implements various competitive advantage strategies such as cost leadership, differentiation, and focus to maintain its position in the market. The results of this study are expected to provide academic contributions in international relations and international business and practical insights for the government and business actors in understanding the dynamics and strategies of MNCs in business expansion.
