ANALISIS ZONASI RISIKO KEBAKARAN HUTAN DAN LAHAN DI KABUPATEN OKU TIMUR MENGGUNAKAN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS (SIG)
Forest and land fires are recurring ecological disasters in Indonesia, including Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Timur Regency, causing significant impacts on the environment, public health, and the local economy. This study aims to map the level of fire vulnerability in OKU Timur by utilizing Geographic Information System (GIS) technology. The analysis was conducted through overlay, weighting, and scoring methods using seven parameters: land type, land cover, slope, elevation, and proximity to rivers, roads, and settlements. Spatial data were obtained from the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) and related institutions. The results indicate that most of the region falls within the high-risk category (66.53%) and moderate-risk category (32.75%). The generated risk zoning map is expected to serve as a basis for effective mitigation, prevention, and environmental management strategies. Keywords: Forest and land fires, risk zoning, Geographic Information System, East OKU
