ANALISIS KONSUMSI ENERGI DAN MASA HIDUP JARINGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE LION OPTIMIZATION ALGORITHM PADA JARINGAN SENSOR NIRKABEL
In this growing modern era, IoT (Internet of Thing) networks have become a new era in IoT networks aimed at expanding the utilization of internet connectivity that is connected continuously. Low Power Lossy Network is part of the IoT network but has limited power and data packets are often lost, short transmission range and low bandwidth can cause waste of power that occurs. Therefore, this research focuses on solving the problem of power wastage and also data packets that are often lost. By using the Lion Optimization Algorithm (LOA) method, it can create a Cluster Head as a route formation between network nodes, in order to make the transmission distance closer so that the energy used is less, the data packets that are successfully received are maximized. There are 2 parameters used in this study, namely Network Lifetime and Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR). The results of using the LOA method are the remaining energy left after the sender node and sink node communicate sending data for 1 hour of 1,204 mJ, Network Lifetime increases due to less energy used, causing Network Lifetime to be 2354.7 seconds and for PDR to increase by sending more data so that it becomes 100% or successfully sent all from the sender node to the sink node.
